- Parent PLUS Loans (both FFELP and Direct) Note:You may not consolidate your parent's PLUS loans with your own loans.
- Federal Perkins Loans, formerly National Defense/National Direct Student Loans (NDSL)
- Consolidation Loans (both FFELP and Direct)
- Health Professions Student Loans, including Loans for Disadvantaged Students
- Health Education Assistance Loans (HEAL)
- Federal Insured Student Loans (FISL)
- Federal Nursing Loans
- Federal Supplemental Loans for Students (SLS)
You cannot include private or alternative loans in a federal consolidation loan.
A minimum balance of $18,000 is required to consolidate.
